SK-II, Future-X Smart Store
A skincare story built upon facial recognition across a store experience
Overview
SK-II uses a proprietary formula that targets specific facets of the skin such as firmness, radiance, spot control, texture, and pore softness.
The narrative of SK-II's proprietary ingredient, Pitera, has found it's way in to a multitude of ads, stories, and even VR. The next evolution of that story is in the translation to a physical retail space.
Challenge
Building a store experience that celebrated the story of the skin that is as multifaceted as the technology that SK-II uses to not only create their elixirs, but analyze their customers' skin to find the right products.
